 Thrane & Thrane’s products for the maritime market target professional users. Among other purposes, the products are used for the GMDSS distress and safety system. The terminals are typically used by merchant and fishing vessels as well as large pleasure craft. Customers include mainly shipyards and commercial and private ship owners.
The products for satellite communication include Inmarsat-C, mini-C, mini-M, Fleet77, Fleet55, Fleet33 and Iridium terminals. Within radio communication Thrane & Thrane supplies among other things VHF and MF/HF equipment.
